Tonight we got to have dinner with Joe's good friend Mike Thompson and his beautiful new bride Cindy. Emma helped me get the house ready this afternoon and Hannah pitched in too after school. We had a great time reminiscing about life in Columbia. I made a yummy ice cream recipe from Southern Living; roasted banana and peanut ice cream with peanut butter sauce on top. It was a great day, but I'm exhausted from cleaning the house, shopping, and cooking. I'll post a cute pic we took of the girls with Mike and Cindy tomorrow. Joe is calling me to come watch American Idol that we recorded tonight, so I'm off to sneak another quick bite of ice cream and veg on the sofa.
