Tonight Emma had to be sent to bed early for having bad table manners at dinner. We had a slightly later dinner so she only went to bed about 1 hour early. She was dismissed from the table and sent to bed because she refused to eat and she was being loud and extremely silly. Before she went to sleep I went in to talk to her and to say her prayers with her. I told her I was in love with her and she told me she was in love with me too. Then she proceeded to list off everyone else she is in love with.....Daddy, Hannah, Auntie, MeMaw, Mrs. Tracy, Beth, Aunt Bobbie and everyone else in the whole world. She also added, "And I love Beth and I love playing with Beth." Beth...you ranked high on her list of people she's in love with....Uncle Rodney and Uncle Huig didn't make the cut! Sorry guys! She has been very strong-willed lately. We were at Kohls today looking at slip covers. I didn't get a cart because I wanted to run in and look at that one item and then leave. She got very upset that I didn't get a cart. She then proceeded to cry and beg me to carry her around the store. It's not only that she's too heavy to carry around the store, but she is so tall that it looks like I'm carrying a much older child and we look crazy! I had to spank her in Kohl's and we left quickly because I refused to give in and carry her and she wouldn't stop begging and crying. I'm not sure what was going on today but hopefully tomorrow she'll be more compliant.
