Emma Boogies Down!
Emma did not get her recital costume today but she decided to put on her own show in the backyard. Here she is breaking it down before she went to dance class. If you click on View All Images you can see them enlarged and in the sequence they were taken. She is so cute! I could eat her with a spoon!
I feel so blessed to have this new camera. I can capture every little detail. It is so quick! I just had this thought...how sad I will be one day when I look back on this set of pictures of Emma and she is 14 or 24 or 34 and not 4! I want to remember her dancing in the yard, being carefree and delighted in herself and her insouciant desire to dance and sing. She didn't care who was watching or where she was, she just danced for pure delight. We checked out a book from the library this week entitled, My Mama Had a Dancing Heart. It is about a mother who loved dancing and she danced in the meadows with her children to welcome spring, she danced in the rain, she danced in the falling autumn leaves and in the falling snow. She shared her dancing heart with her daughter who grew up to love dance. I hope Emma never loses her free spirit or her desire to dance when the mood strikes! May she have a dancing heart that celebrates each and every day that she gets to live on this earth and serve her Savior.
