Sunday Morning

Carter has kept with his hospital schedule. They would wake him up every three hours to feed him...even in the middle of the night. While we wanted him to eat as much as possible so he could come home, I wish they could have let him sleep as long as he wanted to at night. He seems to be in the habit of waking every three hours like clock work to eat. While I know this is normal for newborns, I hope his hospital routine didn't make it worse. He got up at 1:00, 4:00, and 7:00. He did sleep from 9 until 1:00, which was four hours but since I didn't go to bed at nine, I didn't get my four hours like he did! He woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed at 7:00. This is one of his new outfits from Nana. Nana also crocheted the white blanket he is laying on. Isn't it beautiful? His shirt says 50% Daddy, 50% Mommy, 100% Brilliant. While I will gladly claim my 50% I do wish I had just one child that looked like me. All three have come out looking exactly like Joe. One of the nurses was looking at Joe and Carter from behind and pointed out that the shape of their bald heads is even exactly alike. Oh well, maybe when they grow up one of them will bare some resemblance to me!
