This Monday night, 2-09-2009, 9:00 p.m. was much different from last Monday night,
2-02-2009, at 9:00 p.m. Tonight at 9:00 p.m. I held our son and was able to nurse him for the first time in a week. Last Monday night, February 2nd at 9:00 p.m. our six day old son entered surgery to save his life. His intestines were intertwined with his colon and emergency surgery was needed. The reality was, he could have died. However, our God had a different ending to our story. He knew that tonight, February 9th, 2009 at 9:00 p.m. Carter would be alive and on the way to a full recovery and for the first time in a week I could hold him close and give him nourishment that would fill his tummy and would strengthen his tiny little body. Thank you Lord for being with us this week and watching over Carter and healing his sweet little body. Carter will continue to eat all he wants tomorrow as long as the food stays in and comes out. Please pray that he will do fabulous tomorrow, so he can come home on Wednesday.

Thank you Lord for our son and for saving him. Isaiah 54: 13 says, "And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord and great shall be the PEACE of thy children." Thank you God for making Carter whole and complete again and giving him back to us.
