Carter

I just returned from the hospital and Carter is now aware of the tube to his stomach and he tried (successfully) to remove it several times tonight. It had been fed through his nose to his stomach but when he pulled it out, they fed it through his mouth to his stomach. Now that he is aware of it, he tries to push it out with his tongue. Please pray that he will sleep comfortably tonight and he will not be aggravated with it. I am going to call the hospital before I go to bed and ask why they put it through his mouth and not his nose. It dawned on me on the way home from the hospital, that it had been in his nose...not his mouth and that is why he was so aggravated all night.

Please keep us in your prayers. We are all tired and emotional. The week is wearing on us and we are praying that he can come home this weekend.
