Happy Valentine's Day

Well, love abounds in the Edgerton house this weekend. Carter is home where he belongs and we are loving all over him. The girls haven't been able to kiss or hold him yet, due to their virus but it looks like they are over it and they are anxiously awaiting tomorrow when they can squeeze, kiss, hug, hold, love and eat up their little brother.

Below are some of our favorite verses on love. I am reminded today of how much I love my sweetheart, Joe and of how much I love my Lord who has given me three perfect children.
He has loved us with an everlasting love and has given us so much to celebrate this weekend.

Ephesians 3 v 16-19: I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge–that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Isaiah 54 v 10: Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

Jeremiah 31 v 3:"I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.

Carter had a special delivery today. He received a special teddy bear and valentine balloons from Anna, Brad and sweet Allie. He loves staring at his mylar balloons and cuddling with his teddy bear. Thank you Anna and Brad.

This is such a wonderful post. I want to comment on every word and every picture....but let me just say this one thing.....those VALENTINE SLIPPER SOCKS ON EMMA.....TOO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But Granny said it better just a few months ago when I showed her something cute. She said, "That's so sweet. It makes me want to smile and it makes me want to cry and it makes me want to laugh out loud."
