We Love You Papa

We had a great evening visiting with Dad at his home. We just hung out and talked and the girls played on his laptop and watched dvds. Carter was an angel. He entertained himself with his toys and exersaucer and laughed and giggled the whole night. It was a great visit. As we were leaving Hannah said, "Bye Papa, I love you because you're the best Papa in the world." A perfect ending to a great evening.

Joe commented as we left that if anyone driving past us on the way home looked into the car they would think we were the poster children for what is wrong with America! We let the girls bring their portable dvd players in the car because the drive takes about an hour and I am on Joe's laptop typing this as we drive. So, they are zoned out with their headphones on with their dvd players on, I have the laptop on and (Mom don't read this....) Joe has his blackberry in his hand and sometimes checks for email on his phone. We love our technology but the girls only use the portables on trips and Joe just recently got this Sprint card thing for the internet so he can get it anywhere..even in the car..pretty cool, huh? I took this picture on Dad's camera tonight and uploaded to photobucket.com before I left so I could upload it to the blog on the way home. Technology blows my mind. God blows my mind in the fact that he is the creator of the minds that create such amazing pieces of technology.
