I think I Can, I think I Can, I think I Can . . No I Can't!

If I could read little Carter's mind, I think I would hear, "I think I Can, I think I Can, I think I Can . . . No I Can't!" He gets so frustrated when trying to crawl. I practice with him at least twice a day and he gets so angry at me! He is happy for about the first 30 seconds and then it is all downhill from there. He sits up on his hands eye balling the object in front of him, then he stretches as far as his LONG body will go and when he still can't reach it, he gives up and the following takes place:

Weeping and wailing face down in the carpet.

I see it, I think I can, maybe this time....no I can't so I'll just take a break and suck my thumb!

Thank you Mommy for rescuing me and giving me my book. I am the baby of the family you know. I will learn to crawl one day, just not today!

And maybe one day I'll stop growing out this mohawk and grow some hair on the sides and back of my head too!
