Well, our long awaited HSM 3 party is over. The girls were angels. They had so much fun and they made it so easy, I can foresee many sleepovers in our future. The evening started with snack/supper right after school. We had mini taco salads, cheese quesadillas, ritz cracker sandwiches with cheese, meat, tomato and cucumbers, and nilla wafers with whipped cream and strawberries and kiwi. They were so hungry after school, that I might consider serving supper at 3:30 everyday! They ate so well. After they ate we loaded up the van with our goodie bags for the movies and headed to the theater. The theater is new and so nice. The girls chose the seventh row from the bottom so we were up close and personal. After the movie they came home and did art, had a pillow fight, played Barbies and went to bed. Their light was turned off at 9:15 and by 9:20 all three were asleep. The big day wore them out! They were so cute sleeping. I should have taken a picture. We blew up the big air mattress so all three could sleep together. (They slept on the mattress side ways instead of long ways like we would and they all fit and looked so cute!) They had their high school musical pillowcases on the pillows and they covered up with HSM blankets. They were adorable. It was a fun night and one I'm sure they will all remember for weeks to come.
Here are pictures from our big night as well as a few shots from the baby shower last weekend. This weekend we carved our pumpkins and the girls taught themselves how to ride their bikes without training wheels. Every time I think about it, I laugh out loud. Emma was bound and determined to learn and within 30 minutes she was cruising the cul-de-sac pretty independently, after teaching herself. I'll post those pictures later. Both girls did great and I think within a weeks time they will feel very comfortable on their bikes without the training wheels!
