The girls are getting ready to come inside soon and get into their costumes. I am so thankful for the warmer weather we have had the past two days. They are on fall break and they have enjoyed the fresh air and getting to play outside with their friends. They are so excited about tonight. Hannah is going as Hannah Montana and Emma has a Jasmine costume but has decided just this morning that she too wants to be Hannah Montana like her big sister. (Needless to say, Hannah is not thrilled about sharing the Hannah Montana spotlight with her little sister!) So, we are trying to convince Emma to go as Jasmine. We'll post pictures tonight or tomorrow to show you which one wins out!
Here's a cute story from Emma this week. She was looking at some old Christmas pictures from last year and she saw the nativity set under our Christmas tree. She brought the picture to me and asked, "Mommy can you please get the little pack of Jesus and his friends out of the attic for me to play with?" I thought it was sweet how she called it the "little pack of Jesus and his friends." Now we have a new Christmas vocabulary word to learn: "nativity."
