Oh, the Weather Outside Is Frightful . . . .

While we await our first and probably last real snowfall of the year, we have had a fun day inside. It has rained, rained, rained and rained some more. Joe has spaghetti and meatballs on the stove with steamed broccoli and I made garlic breadsticks using my bread machine. We're going to enjoy Emma's chocolate fountain with pineapple, strawberries and marshmallows for dessert and wait for the snow to fall. Carter has been trying to sleep all day since he tried to pull an all nighter last night. He has been so cranky when we try to wake him up from the all day nap he has tried to pull off. At least if he is up all night tonight I can enjoy watching the snow fall (If the forecast is correct it is supposed to snow all night with 5-8 inches in accumulation in our area.) This will be the first real snow the girls will get to play in. Hannah had a big snowfall when she was one or two but doesn't remember it.

Here are a few more pictures from Emma's birthday parties.
