Emma's love affair with fishing quickly died
Here are two more pictures from our fishing excursion on Sunday. Emma caught her first fish 10 seconds after her first line was cast. Her second fish came quickly after that. After her second fish, the novelty quickly wore off. She played the rest of the afternoon with Hannah and Joseph. Here she is hanging out watching others fish. When I asked her if she was having a good time she announced she was bored and refused to pose for my picture. Here is what followed:

A girl after my own heart!! (Although I do love eating the fish that someone else catches.) Give me a good book to read on the dock of the bay anyday over a fishing line!

Talk about a picture painting a thousand words! That picture of Emma is a thousand word essay on the dullness of fishing (sorry fishing fans!) I bet Emma would like deer hunting. Maybe U-Rod can find her a hello kitty rifle!
