It's been very busy since Christmas. I enjoyed taking time off work to play with the girls and spend their vacation with them playing Wii, board games, beauty shop and doing art projects but the work on my desk didn't magically do itself! I'm very busy with work and the girls are busy with dance and gymnastics, Awana and Upward cheerleading. I have so many pictures on my camera that I haven't edited that I stopped taking pictures the past few weeks just so I wouldn't be that much further behind. I do have some cute shots of the girls from last Saturday when they cheered for their first Upward basketball game. I was never a cheerleader. I was too tall but I always wanted to cheer. I love the Upward program because everyone that tries out makes it. The girls were ADORABLE and pretty good considering they had only practiced 3 times before their first game. Joe is buying me a video camera for my Christmas present once we have time to read reviews and find the time to actually make it to Best Buy to pick one out! So, I will be posting videos of their cheerleading skills soon!
The only reason I have time to post this quick post is because it's 4:15 in the morning and Carter has had me up since 3:00. I am trying to teach this boy to put himself back to sleep. He was my DREAM baby from 6 weeks of age until about 6 months when he started teething. He would sleep for 11 or 12 hours without making a peep. Now for the past 6 months when he teethes he SCREAMS until I give him a bottle or soothe him back to sleep. He only has 2 and 1/2 teeth and one more getting ready to break through. He is just like the girls. All three of them have taken FOREVER to get teeth (meaning Hannah didn't get a tooth until she was nine months old) and the ones that come take FOREVER to break through. I promise you that he has been hurting for MONTHS with no signs of teeth. I pray every night, Lord please help this boy get ALL of his teeth at one time so this nightmare can end. Carter doesn't just cry a little, stop and cry a little more. He SCREAMS and SCREAMS and SCREAMS some more. It is nerve racking in the middle of the night. He is a horrible self soother and with two sisters in school, I have probably aided in his rottenness because I don't let him scream for hours and wake up the entire house. But, that is ending. I have both girls in bed with Joe with all of the doors closed and thankfully they went back to sleep pretty easily. Hannah is an early riser and I'm always afraid if Carter wakes her up at 3 or 4 am that she won't go back to sleep. She has a very hard time going back to sleep once she wakes up. We have to MAKE her stay in bed until 6:30 on the weekends or she would be up at 5:30. Once she wakes up, she is up for the day. Well, it's 4:25 and I think he finally went to sleep and with my alarm set for 5:30 and two girls in my spot in the bed it's probably not worth me going in and moving them back to their bed just to get 45 minutes of sleep. So, I'm going to go tackle some of these orders.

Tell Hannah to call me when she's up early since I'm always up early too. Can't wait to see pictures!
