First Days of School

Here are some precious pictures of my sweet girl in her uniform ready for the first day of first grade!

Leaving home for the first day.

Entering her trailer for the first time.

Sitting at her big first grade desk.

Mom and Emma getting one last hug before we leave. Yes, Emma is wearing her pink blanket as a boa. Will she ever leave home without it? She told me this morning she thought she would get rid of it, because she was tired of it getting hung on her booster seat in the car. I said, okay, let's put it in your precious box and we'll keep it safe forever. "Oh no, Mom, I can be patient with her. It's okay if she gets tangled up. I'll deal with it."

Emma did manage to leave blankie in the car before entering four year old preschool yesterday. She was so excited. She got ready at 6:30 yesterday morning and asked me every 15 minutes or so until 9:00 if it was time for school to start yet. She loves preschool. Here she is with her new backpack ready for the first day!

(Back View) I took probably 30 pictures of her because she kept spinning and turning. She wanted to capture herself from every angle on her first day of 4 year old class!

She is always over the top in everything she does. Posing, turning her head, cocking her head back...Miss Hollywood posing for the Mamarazzi!

This is her at school at her table. She was tired of posing by then and I couldn't get a good shot from her. You can tell she was happy to be there though!

Jen, it's hard because you know what Hannah should be doing at school. Could she switch classes? She looked too cute. Are her backback and lunch box from Pottey Barn? I love the polka dots. And Emma? So funny! I love that girl! She's a hoot!
