Horseback Riding

Well, Emma has now declared herself to be an official cowgirl. She aspires to rope cattle and ride horses when she "gwows" up. However, she might change her mind when she learns that real cowgirls might have to clean an occasional stable mess or two and come home with muddy, manure-stained boots and jeans. She pictures herself in her pink cowgirl boots, her jean skirt and pink cowgirl hat riding off into the wild blue yonder....at least until next week when she will change her mind!

The girls and I tagged along on one of Catherine's field trips this week and went with her to a horse farm to ride horses. Here are some pictures of our trip. Hannah was hesitant at first, but fell in love with it by the end of the afternoon! Emma loved it from the time she climbed on. It was a great day.
