Kindergarten Graduation Day

Today we attended Hannah's end of the year program and awards ceremony. It was so sweet. I put together a little video of the day. It was my first attempt at using Windows Movie Maker, so be very,very forgiving. It is amateur. Also, we still don't have a "real" camcorder, so this was shot from my old cheap digital camera that captures video. It is blurry but it is still precious. (Also the first part is sideways, because I forgot you can't turn it that way when shooting video! :)


I had to cut some of the footage because You Tube only allows 10 minute videos. Hannah received the excellent author and illustrator award after the program. The teachers also put together a slide show of all of the pictures taken this year. It was really sweet. They gave each parent a cd with the slide show on it and a collection of our child's creative writing pieces. It showed the progress Hannah has made since she first began in August. It was a sweet, sweet program and then we stayed and had a indoor picnic (since it rained today!).
