Egg Dying 2010

The girls have always loved dying Easter eggs.  It is an Easter tradition that ranks up there with decorating the Christmas tree.  They absolutely love dying eggs.  This year MeMaw bought them a sweet kit from Williams Sonoma.  The stickers from the Williams Sonoma kit were a huge hit.  As well as the glitter glue and egg tattoos.  The girls were entertained for hours last Saturday.  It was a great way to kick off spring break and enjoy some time together.  We had a very busy week last week and soon I will devote an individual post to each day of our spring break.   We didn’t do anything really spectacular, but I did plan a surprise for each day of their vacation last week.  It was a lot of fun spending time with them and we couldn’t have asked for better weather.  It was a fantastic week.

Emma emma3 hannah  Because of her cast, Hannah had to use her left hand. It was hard for her to maneuver the eggs with the egg dying wand or the spoon, so most of the time she dug them out with her hands.  She had brown hands for two days.  I kept painting her nails trying the disguise the brown cuticles.  They were so gross.  Luckily it all disappeared before Easter Sunday!
