We had a great 3 day weekend visit with Sandy and Joe. The kids adore them. We went to Cracker Barrel to eat one night and this is what Emma picked from the store!
Nerd glasses and teeth! Only Emma! They look great with that outfit she was sporting too! Black shirt and brown shorts…she didn’t go to Cracker Barrel in this outfit. This was what she picked to wear outside when they got home. To be my fashion diva, she sure missed the mark that night!
Grandpa Joe gave us some money to have the pine trees cleared out in the backyard and he bought the kids a new playground. I had before and after pictures of the backyard but yesterday I accidentally deleted the before pictures with the trees! URRGGH! We LOVE spending time in the backyard now. The new mulch is from the trees that we cut down and we had enough to do all the natural areas around the entire house. It looks fantastic. Thanks, Grandpa Joe! We are going to put up a fence eventually in the backyard, to have some privacy from the backyard neighbors. The kids and Joe got me the chiminea for my birthday. We can’t wait for a cool night so we can fire it up and roast marshmallows.
