For Emma’s party this year, she decided to invite three friends for a sleepover. When the girls arrived they visited the candy table and filled their goodie bags with movie treats. We then headed to the mall for dinner and a shopping trip to the $2.50 jewelry store. The girls each picked an accessory to wear to the movie. After we ate dinner and got all dolled up with our fashion accessories, we went the movies. We saw Tron Legacy which the girls’ were dying to see, but I must say was a bit over their heads! Auntie Catherine went with us and she joked and joked with Emma about the craziness of the movie. Emma fell asleep in my lap and took a little nap part way through the movie! After the movie the girls’ came home and played in the playroom and stayed up LATE! Their party favor was a pillowcase that I had sewn with a peace sign and their name appliquéd on it. They were so cute climbing in their sleeping bags with their matching pillows. It was a fun night! For breakfast we had Belgian waffles with whipped cream, strawberries and chocolate chips! The girls had a blast and it was definitely a party to remember!
the theme was lime and pink peace signs. We tried to find candies with pink and lime green wrappers. Finding pink was easy since her birthday is close to Valentines’ Day! For lime green we used Andes Mints and some lime green sour gummy live savers I found at Wal-Mart.

I some how managed to forget to take pictures of our family party! Emma had taken cupcakes to her class on her birthday and had cupcakes at the mall with her friends. So, instead of cupcakes or cake, for the family party we had Krispy Kreme doughnuts! We ordered pizza and just hung out with the family. Her friends left at 9:00 Saturday morning and we had the family party at 11:00, 2 hours later. So, I was so tired I forgot to take pictures! Her favorite gift was from MeMaw and Papa and they got her a DSI XL. We got her games and since it is June and her birthday was in February, I have forgotten what Auntie and Uncle gave her. Sorry, Sis! I am trying to make up for lost time and get these pics on the blog, but my memory fails me after nearly 5 months! I’m sure it was something fabulous!
