Emma

As I was talking to Hannah about her day at school she told me the sweetest thing about Emma. Apparently, when Hannah walks Emma to her classroom each morning, she gives her a side hug and kisses her on the head. Well, she hugged and kissed Emma today as usual and went to her classroom. After she had unpacked and settled into her desk, who should arrive in her classroom? Emma and Emma's teacher! Emma was upset and crying because she didn't think Hannah had kissed her good-bye this morning! So, Hannah had to "rekiss" her and tell her to have a good day. After that Emma was fine and went back to class and started her day. She is such a creature of habit. She gets so shaken up when her routine is shaken. God Bless Her!

I still have Easter pictures on my camera and I have no time to edit them. Hopefully, soon I'll find some time to sit down and download them. Carter is still not walking, but is very close. He walks holding onto one hand now. Joe has been practicing with him a lot over the past few days. For some reason as soon as I try to get Carter to hold my hands and walk, he picks up both feet and crosses them in the air. He WILL NOT walk with me. He is so stubborn it is comical, but very frustrating. He REFUSES to walk with me. I have no idea why. If I say to him, "Stand up, Carter" and I try to take his hands and help him up, he arches his back, throws his head back and picks up both feet off the floor. He is ridiculously cute when he does it, but I have no idea why he detests walking with me. He kneels in front of me and raises up both little arms for me to pick him up and I just can't refuse him! He is a stinker!
