Well, before July 4th gets here, I figured I needed to post some Easter pictures that have been taunting me every time I turn on my camera. They’ve been there since April and I’m running out of storage room on my memory card so I figured it was time to download them to the computer! It hasn’t been pure laziness that has kept me from blogging, although that has been part of it, but we have been super busy and at night I’m just too tired to sit at my desk and work on pictures! Truth be told, I haven’t developed pictures since before Christmas. Emma has an adorable picture frame that she got for her birthday (in February) that is still sitting empty on her bookcase! I really need a personal assistant to help me keep up with life! But, doesn’t every mom need one?!
We don’t stay super busy outside of the home. It isn’t as if we are out every night doing extra curricular stuff. But, the day to day homework ,cooking dinner, playing with the kids, reading with the kids, giving baths and on and on and on keeps us plenty busy around here. I am reading James Dobson’s new book Bringing Up Girls and it is fabulous. If you have a daughter of any age, I recommend reading this book. It is very insightful. I won’t lie, at times I feel like I am lacking in so many areas because the truth hits you in the face. Raising daughters in this society is HARD. Teaching them to love God and honor their parents and strive for purity and holiness is HARD but boy am I glad Joe and I have God on our side helping us. I wouldn’t trade these days for anything.
Well, they may be late but they are worth the wait. I love the picture of the three kids on the wicker loveseat and I love Emma and Hannah’s egg hunting pictures.

I love the pictures! The girls look so big (grown)! And Carter is a cutie! I hate to read, but I guess I need to read both of Dr. Dobson's books (boys and girls)
