Carter Joseph

On Father's Day we dedicated Carter at church. They had each set of parents write something to their child and they shared it on the screen at church, along with a picture of your child. Here is our "letter" to Carter. (It had to be 50 words or less so you couldn't write much!)

Carter, the Lord spared your life when you were six days old and you had to undergo a serious surgery. We know He has great and mighty plans for your life. Plans to prosper you and give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11) May God continue to watch over you and draw you closer to him, all the days of your life.

Carter's Dedication
(We were laughing because the Pastor mentioned Carter's great hair. He had his few little curls on top of his head spiked/curled up for his special occasion!)

Emma would become Carter's 2nd mother if I let her. She wants to smother, smooch, and smash mother him all day long!

He is one well-loved baby. He goes days without crying. We joke that when Jesus was a baby he probably acted a lot like Carter. He is so laid back and quiet and peaceful. He loves to snuggle and laugh and he is such a happy boy.
