Our Last Post of 2008

Happy New Years Eve!

We have had a wonderful evening just spending time with the girls. We told them that if they can make it to midnight, they could stay up late tonight. As of 9:14 as I type this they are still up, but they are getting much more subdued, so I don't know how long they will last! Here are a few pictures from our night so far. We started around 7:00 with the chocolate fountain. They love using MeMaw's chocolate fountain, so every Christmas we borrow it and use it for at least one occasion. A few weeks ago at Catherine's graduation party we used it and then again tonight. Tonight I only had fresh pineapple, marshmallows and honey pretzel rods but they loved it! The marshmallows are Hannah's favorite and the pineapple is Emma's. If you remember from my post about Catherine's party, I think I mentioned that Emma ate about 20 pieces of pineapple that night and she came close to it tonight by eating @ fifteen!

After our chocolate overload we played Emma's new board game from Auntie and Uncle, Horton Hears a Who! Don't we look gorgeous in our Horton mask? Then we played Connect Four on teams and now we are going to veg out and watch TV or a movie for as long as we can all last!

When it was my turn to put on the Horton mask, I told Joe not to dare take any pictures. Hannah was so sweet. She blocked Joe from taking my picture but eventually he got me! This is Hannah jumping in front of the camera to save me from my embarrassing picture!

Yuck! We can't end '08 with this as our last picture! So, here's one more picture from our family to yours.

Have a wonderful evening and may God richly bless you and your family in 2009.

Sounds like you had a fun evening. Happy New Year. We can't wait to meet baby boy Edgerton (and finally hear what his name is!).
