This is our 100th post on our little ole' blog. It has been so much fun recording our family memories. I can't wait until the end of December so I can publish this first year into a book. I have been so busy that I haven't scrapbooked in so long, but I want to finish up our fall pictures and Christmas pictures and make a book of those as well. In the new year, I may have to give up scrapbooking when the baby arrives. If I can't find time to do it now, I can't imagine finding time with three children! We'll see!
Here are some pictures of the girls with one of their favorite Christmas treats! I bribed them yesterday and told them if they ate all their fruit and vegetables in their lunch boxes they could have a special treat that night. (Emma stays for Lunch Bunch on Monday afternoons at preschool, so she packs her lunch too.) As soon as Emma hopped into the car after preschool she exclaimed, "I ate all my fruit salad and carrots and tomatoes!" Her teacher told me it took her the whole lunch period to eat it all, but she ate every last bite! For their reward, Joe brought home a canister of popcorn for them to enjoy. They are in love with it! They said it was worth all the fruits and vegetables they had to eat.
For advent two nights ago they received some new board games. They love playing games with us, so Joe picked out new games for them and they had a blast playing Emma's "Don't Break the Ice" game last night. They don't quite understand the concept yet. They don't care if they knock out an entire row of ice cubes at a time. They laugh when they lose and just start all over! They are hysterical to watch! For last night's Advent we bought some Christmas stamp pads to go with some great Christmas stamps Auntie Catherine gave them. They made Christmas cards for different family members, so be on the look out this week for some special cards in the mail. I'll try to take pictures of them today before they are mailed. They both wrote such special things inside. They made them so elaborate and long that they will have to make cards every night to make one for everyone on their list! They each got two done last night. Emma wrote one to Aunt Carol in Pennsylvania inquiring about her and Winston (her dog). They LOVE Winston. Emma wants to know if Winston has learned any new tricks since she left! They both chose Aunt Bobbie and Uncle Huig as one of last night's recipients. (Sorry Auntie Catherine, you were on the list for last night, but they ran out of time and they bumped Aunt Bobbie and Uncle Huig to the front so they could give it to them tonight at P.F. Changs.) More cards to come in later posts. I can't wait to show you what Emma writes! They are so precious!

I know two other little girls who use to love those cans of popcorn. Memaw had a collection of Christmas popcorn cans that she would decorate with. That how much popcorn we would eat.
We love that popcorn too! The girls look so cute! Will you send me a list of what you have done for Advent? I want to get things after Christmas this year like you did last year. Great idea :)
