We had the best Fourth of July. We spent 4 hours at the pool. They had a giant slip and slide set up on the hill for the kids. There were also fun games for the kids in the pool every hour. We had a great picnic lunch. The board members of the pool grilled hamburgers and hotdogs and pool members brought sides. It was all so yummy. I left the camera at home because I’m always afraid it will get ruined by the water. The kids are always dripping on our stuff ! So I don’t have any fun pictures.
At 5:00 we went to Rachel’s to celebrate with another great cookout in honor of Brayden’s birthday and the 4th! We had a great time despite the rain. We ate great food, the kids did water balloons and a piñata. We saw a beautiful rainbow after the rain. Then Brian set off wonderful fireworks that Carter and I missed because Carter is afraid of the noise. We hung out inside while the others enjoyed a fabulous display! It was a great day.
