Can we fast forward to Thanksgiving break and skip over the next few days? Joe is gone for three days for work, Carter is teething and it's raining and no one can go outside!
The day started at 5:30 with Carter waking up cranky (after I had just fallen asleep around 1:00. I don't do good on 4.5 hours of sleep.) He woke up the whole house so all three children were up and in the living room before my coffee had been poured at 5:40 and Joe had just walked out the door for work. I have 1000 shirts to make for people (I added my new Christmas shirts to my etsy store and I keep getting orders! Yeah and Yuck! I'm tired!) I need to get our Christmas decorations up before we leave for Thanksgiving. I need to clean my house and the list goes on.
I went to Wal-Mart with all three kids in the rain tonight to get green fabric for my ornament shirt and they were OUT! We stood in the rain outside our doctor's office for the girls seasonal flu shot. They were holding a clinic and we had an appointment but apparently half the town did as well. They were lined up out the door probably 30-50 families deep. It was INSANE. They were fast though! PTL. Emma kicked and screamed even though she was only getting the nasal mist and not the shot. Go figure! She's very timid about anything new and unknown. They had AWANA tonight and now they are all finally in bed asleep. Emma cried going to bed because I had smelt smoke earlier...we have no idea where it came from. It was just for a brief second. I told them it was probably from outside somewhere and it came in the vent of the house. It freaked her out and she wouldn't go to bed because she thought the house was on fire! What a day. I'm going to go eat something really yummy and really bad for me...I am not usually a stress eater, but after today I deserve a treat! Pray tomorrow goes better and faster!
